These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Piglu mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

In these Terms, “Piglu”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to the operator of the Service.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
• you will comply with these Terms and applicable laws;
• you will not use the Service for unlawful, abusive, harassing, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

Description of the Service

Piglu is a task management and accountability platform that allows users to:

• create personal tasks;
• assign tasks to other users;
• create user connections and groups;
• communicate within task-related chats;
• request and provide task completion confirmations.

Piglu is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

Piglu does not verify the truthfulness, accuracy, legality, reliability, or validity of user actions, confirmations, communications, or statements.

Task confirmations, timestamps, notifications, and chat messages are not legal evidence, proof of performance, or certified records of any activity.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• your interactions with other users;
• your communications and conduct;
• decisions made based on information within the Service;
• verifying task completion independently where necessary;
• maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Piglu is not responsible for interpersonal disputes, misunderstandings, emotional harm, relationship issues, reliance on task confirmations, or conflicts arising between users.

The Service must not be used for harassment, coercion, intimidation, stalking, surveillance, abuse, or unlawful monitoring of other individuals.

User Content and Communications

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service.

By submitting content, you grant Piglu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and store such content solely for operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for content you submit.

You agree not to submit or transmit:

• unlawful content;
• threatening or abusive material;
• hateful or discriminatory content;
• spam or unsolicited communications;
• malicious code or harmful software;
• content violating third-party rights.

Piglu reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove content, restrict accounts, suspend users, or terminate access at our sole discretion.

Shared Tasks, Groups, and Confirmations

Piglu may allow multiple users to interact with the same tasks, groups, confirmations, messages, or activity records.

You acknowledge that:

• other users may see information you submit in shared contexts;
• task confirmations may be subjective or disputed;
• users may disagree about whether a task was completed;
• shared records may persist in limited or anonymized form after account deletion where necessary to preserve context, platform integrity, or consistency for other users.

Piglu is not responsible for resolving disputes between users regarding task completion, confirmations, messages, shared responsibilities, or expectations.

Notifications and Availability

Piglu may send push notifications, reminders, alerts, and status updates.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• notifications may be delayed, inaccurate, duplicated, interrupted, or fail entirely;
• message delivery is not guaranteed;
• synchronization delays may occur;
• the Service may become unavailable temporarily or permanently.

You are solely responsible for safely interacting with your device and notifications.

Do not use the Service while driving, operating machinery, or performing activities requiring attention and situational awareness.

Subscriptions

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through the applicable platform provider, including Apple App Store or Google Play.

Billing, refunds, renewals, and payment processing are handled by the applicable platform provider and may be subject to additional terms imposed by that provider.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account through the application settings.

Following a deletion request:

• your account will enter a pending deletion state;
• personal account data will generally be deleted or anonymized within 30 days;
• certain limited information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security systems, or where legally required.

Certain non-personal or anonymized system references may persist to maintain service integrity for other users.

Third-Party Services

Piglu may use third-party providers including:

• Firebase Authentication;
• Firebase Cloud Messaging;
• Firebase Analytics;
• Firebase Crashlytics;
• RevenueCat;
• Hetzner hosting infrastructure.

Third-party services may independently process data in accordance with their own policies and terms.

Piglu is not responsible for third-party systems, outages, security incidents, or service interruptions.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, excluding user content, remain the exclusive property of Piglu and its licensors.

You may not:

• copy or reverse engineer the Service;
• distribute or exploit the Service unlawfully;
• interfere with platform integrity or security;
• use automated systems to access the Service without authorization.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIGLU DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

• MERCHANTABILITY;
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
• NON-INFRINGEMENT;
• ACCURACY;
• RELIABILITY;
• AVAILABILITY;
• SECURITY.

Piglu does not warrant that:

• the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free;
• data will never be lost;
• notifications will always function correctly;
• task confirmations are accurate or reliable;
• the Service will meet your expectations or requirements.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PIGLU AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• INDIRECT DAMAGES;
• INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;
• CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES;
• LOSS OF DATA;
• LOSS OF PROFITS;
• BUSINESS INTERRUPTION;
• EMOTIONAL DISTRESS;
• RELATIONSHIP DISPUTES;
• USER CONFLICTS;
• RELIANCE ON TASK CONFIRMATIONS OR COMMUNICATIONS;
• DEVICE OR SOFTWARE FAILURES;
• SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIGLU’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO PIGLU DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR EUR 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. In such cases, portions of this section may not apply.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Piglu, its owners, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• your use of the Service;
• your content;
• your conduct toward other users;
• your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

Termination

Piglu may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected abuse, unlawful conduct, security concerns, operational reasons, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Slovenia, excluding conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Slovenia, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

Changes to These Terms

Piglu may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated through the Service or other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Service following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
